Worried About Her Children

Friends, I can’t help but bring this issue to the public domain because lots of mothers are weeping and hiding their broken hearts in a nice Make- up during the day but at night in worries and tears about their children.

Just after last Sunday service, I stayed behind to attend the workers meeting in my church. Before the meeting began I felt like going to ease myself and I did just that! But after easing myself, I walked to the mirror stand to see if my make-up was still intact! (You know how we ladies are particular about our looks) so don’t blame me, I’m just exhibiting the woman nature in me. Just then two elderly ladies walked in and one of them was lamenting that she was tired of her children’s attitudes towards coming to church. They don’t even want to hear the word ‘church’. They just want freedom to be given to them to do whatever they want. Stay at home on Sunday morning and watch TV!!

Oh I saw

None shall Want her Mate!!!

God is indeed faithful. Just like the scripture says that None shall want her mate! On the 25th of May, the heaven was in full support of my friend’s wedding (Grace Philips). The reason why I’m particular about this wedding was because my friend was a matured single and she has seen it all in the hands of guys and mockers.

But in her waiting period, she was always in a jovial mood that you can’t help to wonder if she even gets worried about her single status!! At the reception hall many came to see if it was for real!

A Special Tribute to My LOVE!!

On Saturday the 25th of May, was a very special day for me because it was the birthday of my sweetheart! I must tell you that words are not enough for me to qualify him but I will try to be brief to avoid too much hailing!! Lol!!

He is a good, kind and thoughtful man. Is it any wonder that I cherish and love him? He doesn’t get huge glory days at work….he’s not a CEO or anything like that—though that bothers him sometimes.

Happy Children's day!!!

Happy Children's day to all our wonderful children!!! Gone are the days when children's day celebration was exciting to me as a child. I will never forget the March Pass competition amongst the different government schools. Oh what a world of children with play and dance!!

Back then, the Education system was still very sound and we came out really good from public schools. But now, I can't explain where we got it all wrong! My question today is, what happened over the years??? Why the falling standard of Education!! I weep for this country because I don't know if in a few years from now the Education sector can be fixed!

Three Great Men of God That are Geniuses in Nigeria.

Here are the three blessed Men of God and geniuses I love in Nigeria that have impacted their generation and above all, great achievers and movers in the vineyard of the Lord.

Pastor W F.Kumuyi was born in 1941. He is the founding Senior Pastor and General Superintendent (1982) of the Deeper Christian Life Bible Church. He has always believed in God and his former tutor the late Dr. Tai Solarin testified of the genius of Kumuyi. He was a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Lagos (1979 - 1983).

For a sample of the mathematical genius of Pastor W.F Kumuyi, see "Acta Mathematica Academiae Paedagogicae Nyıregyhaziensis 19 (2003 where W.F. Kumuyi and M. Nassif. Derived and integrated sets of simple sets of polynomials in. two complex variables. J. Approximation Theory, 47:270–283.

HUSBAND SNATCHER NEXT DOOR

Marriage is beautiful when everything is going on well but bitter when the chips are down. The story I’m about to share with you is about someone very dear and close to my heart whose story overwhelmed me.

Hmn….where should I start from? Let me begin this way! Mrs. B (real names withheld) happens to meet her husband at Kaduna state.  They were both junior staff and work at the same organization and because they love themselves, they got married.  I must not fail to let you know that Mrs. B is older than her husband and volunteered to support him with her little salary to further his Education. When he became a graduate, he was promoted to senior cadre in the organization while the wife still remains where she was because she didn’t further her Education due to financial constraints.

As years goes by, she experienced so many miscarriages but God was merciful to her and HE blessed them with two wonderful children a boy and a girl!

Pope Francis Changes Throne for a White Chair.

According to a recent article, the pope has adopted a white chair instead of a throne and this chair is not elevated on some platform either. This seems admirable, but if this is such a good thing then why isn’t this the standard for all popes? Either it was humble of this pope to do this and all other popes were a bit “high and mighty” or it’s not humble at all and in fact contrary

PROPHECY FOR THE WEEK (Bishop David Abioye)

Living without sight and yet very Great!!!

Helen Adams Keller was born June 27, 1880, in the northwest Alabama city of Tuscumbia. Her father was a retired confederate army captain and editor of the local newspaper; her mother was an educated young woman from Memphis. When Helen was nineteen months old, she was afflicted by an unknown illness, possibly scarlet fever or meningitis, which left her deaf and blind.

Helen was extremely intelligent and tried to understand her surroundings through touch, smell and taste. However,

When to Stay or Walk away!

When I was quite young, I admired doctors especially the young ones. But I couldn't stand hospital environment or drugs! Many thanks to JAMB because I ended up reading another course. I'm definitely grateful to God because that was not HIS plan and purpose for my life.

I made a lot of decisions in my life that if it were not for GOD, the rest is history!!

I love venturing into so many things especially if it will generate money for me. Look!! I'm not

Hurt by the people you trust the Most!!

Child molestation is the act of sexually touching a child. Some people will say that sexually touching a child does no harm. Some adults will even tell boy victims to "act like a man" and "stop whining." Other adults are unsympathetic about the experiences of adult survivors. They will say that, no matter what happened in childhood, that is the past. You're an adult now, so get over it.

Indecent Dressing in the Church.

Indecent dressing simply means deliberate exposure of one’s body to the public. This practice is contrary to the acceptable norms and values of the society. Moral decadence on the other hand is a reduction in the level of morality in the society.
The annoying part of indecent dressing is when people confidently wear these so called "rags" to church without considering the fact that the church is a HOLY PLACE and not a club.

Church owned Schools not Affordable!!

Just as others grumble in silence on the trend of funding a church-owned school but can’t benefit from it, others believe that tithes and offerings are commandments from God and should be obeyed.
I am in the class of people that believe strongly in tithing, offerings, sacrificial giving and not forgetting project offering. But my question is, why is it that the schools owned by churches are not affordable by members?

Winners' Chapel at 32!!

The beginning of the church can be traced back to May 1981 when David Oyedepo  said he had an 18 hour vision from God. In this vision God spoke to him saying, "Now the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil, through the preaching of the Word of faith; and I am sending you to undertake this task". Two years later the church was formed with four members.

Risk Your Kids to TV.

With the increasing pervasion of the TV into the daily life and households of every family, small or big, rich or poor, it is essential for parents to pause and think about the effects the TV may have on the little ones in the family. As a matter of fact, there is nothing wrong about watching television, but there maybe something wrong when it comes to how much time is being spent with the TV and the content.

As a parent, it is very important to control what your children are

My Super mom!!!

I know lots of us have wonderful mums that gave their very best for us to be what we are today! My mum was no exception, she gave her all. When i was very little, my mum was a tailor and a petty trader to help my dad who was a civil servant. We were seven (7) kids, with different behavioural pattern in a one bedroom apartment. You can imagine the noise and the fighting that will be taking place. I'm sure you know Fuji house of commotion?? Na wa o!! How did my mum cope with us then! As we grew older, my mum single handly ensured that we all went to higher institutions.
I'm a mother now and most times i get exhausted with house chores, business, office work and church activites. But I know that the grace of God is more than enough for me. Lord help me to be a super mom for my kids!! I was watching the TV some time ago and i saw the daughter of the late Bimbo Odukoya singing a song title "Gifted and Proud" and her mum was shown on the screen and tears were on my eyes. Did you know what was on my mind? The mum nurtured her kids in the fear of the lord which is a good foundation based on the word of God! That is why they are excelling in what they do today. Bimbo Odukoya lives on says me!! She was my mentor. Those of us that are young mothers and fathers, do you want to be remembered by your children for good!! You know what? To be a super mom or dad takes hard work and commitment......Guess u are one!!!

Myles Munroe on Leadership

The Spirit of Leadership

To exercise leadership, you must believe that you are inherently a leader.
Leadership really comes down to two things: who you are and how you think. It is about discovering your identity as a born leader and then understanding the way true leaders think so that you can fulfil your inherent calling. If you don't first establish your leadership nature, it will be very difficult to have the mind-set of leadership.

True leadership is first concerned with who you are, as opposed to what you do. Leadership action flows naturally from a personal leadership revelation. To exercise leadership, you must believe that you are inherently a leader. Again, to purse purpose as leaders do, you must think like a leader. To think like a leader, you must receive the thoughts of leadership. To receive the thoughts of leadership, you must have a personal encounter with your true self; a discovery of your nature, ability, and essence as a human being. Just as a product cannot know its true purpose or worth except in its relationship with its manufacturer, so it is with you and me.

The leadership spirit is the inherent leadership capacity and potential that is the essential nature of human beings. The spirit of leadership, is the mind-set or attitudes that accompany a true leadership spirit and allow the dormant leadership potential to be fully manifested and maximized. Clearly understanding this difference is critical for discovering and living out your leadership capacity.

Jonathan did not buy me a private jet!

The National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, for the first time, publicly dismissed criticisms that continued to trail his acquisition of a private jet with some critics claiming that the gift may have come from the Presidency.
The founder/senior pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, Warri emphatically declared that President Goodluck Jonathan did not contribute a dime for the jet.
He maintained that over 90 per cent of the funds came from members of the church while the rest was donated by his spiritual children across the globe.

Turnaround in an impossible situation!!

So often we spend our time worrying and dreading our fate instead of understanding that the battle is not over. For you, the battle isn't over even when it's over. You serve a God who can resurrect the dead! Remember that. I'm willing to bet He's rescued you from defeat before. Trust Him to do so again. He can turn around your situation!

Therefore, here are your action items if you're looking for a turnaround:

1. Realize that there are no impossible situations. You serve a God that specializes in the impossible! (Matthew 19:26)
2. Pray. Take it God in real, honest and specific terms. Don't just complain to Him. Ask Him to do something! (Philippians 4:6)
3. Understand that your victory is assured no matter what. Even things that appear to be "bad" in your eyes, are really good because the Lord has not finished his work in you nor in your life. (Romans 8:28)
4. Take positive action. Ask, seek and knock. Faith is not passive. Even while believing the Lord for miracles, you keep asking and keep seeking and keep knocking. You don't know which door He will open for you. (Matthew 7:7)
5. Only speak victory. What you say has the power to change the entire course of your life and the lives of those you influence. Take great care of what you say. (Proverbs 18:21).
It is so critical that you take control of your spirit, your mind, your attitudes and your words when you're facing immense challenges. You must not allow a place for casual conversation either in your circle or in your own thoughts. Once you get focused on possibilities and have lifted up your concerns to God, let them go and begin to look forward to your breakthrough! It's coming. And even if it doesn't come, it's coming!!

Pope Francis Welcomes Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI to Vatican

The emeritus pope, Benedict XVI, was greeted by his successor on his return to the Vatican on Thursday to begin an unprecedented period of co-habitation in which two white-robed pontiffs will share the grounds of the tiny, walled city state.
Francis welcomed his predecessor to the former convent in the Vatican gardens that will be his home for the rest of his life and then accompanied 86-year-old Benedict in a brief prayer. The sparsely decorated Mater Ecclesiae is just a few hundred metres from the Vatican guesthouse where Francis has opted to live.

It was the second meeting between the popes since Francis was elected on 13 March. Ten days later, the new pontiff travelled to Castel Gandolfo in the hills south of Rome to talk and pray with Benedict, the first pope to resign voluntarily since 1294. The two have since spoken several times by telephone.

Marital Advice!!

Bishop T.D. Jakes, 55, has been married to his wife Serita for over 30 years and shares five children with her. He said the biggest mistake that young couples make, is that couples do not take the time to really get to know one another.
"Young couples can get swept up in the euphoria of romantic love without ever realizing that love ebbs and flows through the seasons and stages of life,". He also said, "Sometimes individuals place unreasonably high expectations on their partners. They want their mate to 'complete them,' to be their 'best friend,' 'their everything'- which is a heavy burden to place on a partnership," .  "The only place where two halves make a whole is in geometry. Marriage requires two whole individuals to become one."
The pastor spoke about marriage requiring constant work, and used gardening as a metaphor to describe the process.

"Like a garden, marriage requires constant upkeep and maintenance, Tilling the ground may be hard work in the spring, but breaking up the fallow ground allows you to get rid of the accumulating weeds and turn over old soil six to eight inches beneath the surface, so that fresh earth is allowed to come to the top to breathe which enables you to replenish the nutrients depleted in winter so that new vegetables and flowers can flourish. In the summer, only watering is required and fall is harvest time."

Jakes said, Marriage requires work and expecting the unexpected. Don't let other people design a marriage you can't live with.  Keep other people out of your business. Every marriage is different.

Beware of Prophets of Doom!!!

I really love the Lord with the whole of my heart. But at times it seems as if His far away from me and my desperation is making me doubt if He can answer me right now!!
I remember when i newly got married and it seems as if the joy of motherhood was not coming forth and a woman who claimed to be a prophetess came along and told me the sexes of my unborn children!!
you can imagine the way i felt, as if God has spoken to me and my hope was rekindled again! when she was through, i gave her a prophet offering because she told me what i wanted to hear!
Alas, all fake! fake! fake! When my season came, God blessed me with the blessings of God that maketh rich and add no sorrow. You know what? the sexes of my children are different from what she told me!
Every day i get to understand the way God act and I know that He does not want to share His Glory with any man! Whatever a prophet or prophetess says or prophecy and it does not come to pass then know that, he or she is fake. Friends it my opinion!!! I stand by it!

Prophetic Instruction!!

An urgent prophetic instruction from Bishop David Oyedepo to all winners world wide, to engage in the blood of sprinkling and taking of the communion in the night for 7 days starting from 5th May, 2013. Using Zech 9:9-11 as the scriptural base.

Breaking Bad Habits.

Nearly everything we do in life is the result of our habits. The good ones bring peace, joy and power into our lives, and the bad ones steal our peace and joy and prevent our success.

In this book, Joyce explains how to develop good habits—the things you really want to do—and break the bad ones, putting an end to frustration, discouragement and stress that drains your energy.  To make your order from  www.joycemeyer.org

Pastor Adeboye Justifies the Purchase of a new Private Jet.

Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has justified his purchase of a private jet saying it is necessary for his work.
Mr. Adeboye, one of the most respected Christian leaders in Nigeria and the head of the Redeemed Church that has millions of members across 160 countries, stated this in an interview with global news channel, Aljazeera.
The pastor said “there are things you need,” to perform the task he does as the general overseer.
“When you have to oversee churches in 160 countries, you can’t do that on a bicycle,” he said in response to a specific question on whether he needed to have acquired a private jet.
Though considered unique in his simple appearance and un-flamboyant lifestyle, Mr. Adeboye is one of the increasing numbers of Pentecostal pastors that have acquired private jets, leading to condemnations by some Nigerians.
Come to think of it, the work of God must be done in a dignify way!
