Just as others grumble in silence on the trend of funding a church-owned school but can’t benefit from it, others believe that tithes and offerings are commandments from God and should be obeyed.
I am in the class of people that believe strongly in tithing, offerings, sacrificial giving and not forgetting project offering. But my question is, why is it that the schools owned by churches are not affordable by members?
The way the churches are all venturing into education system all for the sake of generating wealth without considering the spiritual aspect of the people they are called to nurture in the ways of God is inappropriate.
Must the school fees be too high?? I hate to say or hear the statement "church is Money generating BUSINESS"!!! But they way things are now, the statement is proved to be correct.
If only the elite in your church can afford the school fees, MOG something is wrong!
The body of Christ is blessed, yes I know! Even if your school is paved with gold, the tuition fees must not be too high!!!
The reason why I'm emotional about this topic is that, lots of people are toiling and contributing in their Churches but they can't per take in the good that should come to them as members.
Jesus fed 5,000 men (excluding women and children) but if you add them all, let say 15,000. Jesus exhibited compassion in all ways. Why can't all the achievers and movers in the kingdom do likewise??? A food for taught!!
