I Cherish My Woman Power!!

Women do have power, lots of it. But I’m not just talking about power within the family, or power in the workplace, or even power in high political office. I’m talking about a more basic kind of power: power over men.
If a woman recognizes her power over men, and chooses to exercise it, she can own a man. I don’t care who the man is or what he’s accomplished; if she wants him and he’s at all attracted to her, she can own him. It’s often said that sex---or, more precisely, a woman’s ability to grant it or withhold it---is the source of a woman’s power over men. Whatever the source of a woman’s power may be, she needs to use it wisely.
Just because a woman can own a man doesn’t mean she has to. They may both be happier if her power is exercised so effortlessly that he can maintain the illusion that maybe it’s his power that she’s attracted to. Is that itself a kind of manipulation? Maybe, but I don’t think many men would complain, even if they could recognize it. If his illusions are left intact, a man is always happy.
Most men will agree with me that their pursuit of work is directly related to their pursuit of women or providing for “The Woman” in their life. It is said that men are turned on through their eyes while women are turned on through their ears.
Consider three examples from the Scripture. Take the power of Delilah with Samson. Samson could take on an army of warriors, but he surrendered to the charms of one woman. A writer describes Samson as a "He-man, with a she-weakness."

Take King David, who faced and felled a nine-foot Goliath, yet fell under the spell of Bathsheba. David was so obsessed; he was drawn away from his God into immorality, lies, and ultimately murder. And consider Solomon, who ruled over the golden years of Israel, but was captivated by the power of women.

I recently attended a conference on Leadership and while we were having dinner, something very funny happened!! A guy sighted a lady and went to chase her meanwhile his iPad was on the table and he was just engrossed in conversing with the lady and someone picked the iPad and hid it away from the table. They guy didn’t notice the absence of his iPad until the lady left the place and he became normal! All of us in the same dinner table knew about the missing iPad and we were just watching him for over 20minutes looking for the iPad!! When we saw that he was exhausted in searching for his iPad, the guy that went to hid it returned it to him and we all gave him a good laugh. Lol…. ladies be careful!

Today, the advertising industry exploits this power in order to sell everything from cars to toothpaste. Magazines, billboards, Music Videos, posters, and store windows use attractive women, seductive women, and blatant sexual images to catch a man's glance and capture his attention.

A sister in-law was complaining to me that her husband now keep late nights. Every day he takes Ogogoro (Sapele water or dry gin) and behaves as if he is remotely controlled by the drink to the point that he can be in the house playing and chatting with his family and suddenly he will get up and quickly go and dress up and head to the joint were he drinks! The woman was crying on the phone and narrating her ordeal to me that he no longer give her money for feeding again and they are blessed with four kids. Do you want to know what I told her? I told her that she should be prayerful and use her WOMAN POWER!! The lady paused and gently asked me the meaning of woman power and her told her to start showing the man Care, Understanding and Sexual fulfilment.
Many wives do not understand how profound this power is. God has blessed you with a feminine ability that you can use for great good in your husband's life. God has plans for your man. He wants to use you to grow him into a godly man. Your power can meet his loneness and his companionship needs, affirm his sexual identity, protect him from temptation, and keep him for life.
There is so much more to say, but if there is one message I could get across in a short article: You Have More Power than You Think. Use it next time you walk in a room, on a date, or relax with your hubby.

Do add your voice by commenting because someone will need your advice and as for me I use my woman power to get what I want from my hubby!

  1. This article raises a very disturbing thought: the power women wield is essentially their SEX APPEAL!!!

Your argument lays women open to sexually suggestive jabs from men.

Next time a man directs sexual innuendos at you, DO NOT COMPLAIN, PLEASE!!!

    You asked for it!

    1. @Reasonable thanks alot for commenting. But i think you misunderstand the point i'm making. This article is strictly in the confine of marriage. Do not forget that I said WOMAN POWER consist of Care, Understanding and Sexual Satisfaction!! I believe that if a woman applies this to her home then it will be SWEET. Afterall what do men expect from women?
